SACE 2011 STAGE 2 ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS

The Saint Ignatius' College community is extremely proud of the academic achievements of its Year 12 students.  We wish all the graduates of the Class of 2011 every success for the future. All of our 136 Year 12 students gained their South Australian Certificate of Education.

Our students gained:
55           A+ grades, including 30 Merits
135         A’s
153         A-‘s
A total of 343 in the A grade band.

The average ATAR was 85.1 (85.2 in 2010).

Highest ATAR achieved was 99.95 (one student).

20 students achieved 30 Merits in 10 subjects involving 17 teachers.

14.7% of our students gained Merits.

One student achieved 4 merits, two students 3 merits and three students received 2 merits.

9 students, 7% of the cohort, achieved an ATAR of 99 or above, i.e., in the top 1% of the State.

38 students (28%) achieved an ATAR of 95 or above, in the top 5% of the State.

66 students (49%) achieved an ATAR of 90 or above, in the top 10% of the State.
