Parents' and Friends' Committee

The Parents’ and Friends’ Committee of Saint Ignatius’ College is a voluntary organisation that supports the College in the promotion of generosity, community and hospitality. We also raise funds for the school which, in turn, benefits our children.

The Executive comprises a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary and a Treasurer with a committee of parent members drawn from across the school. The Committee meets on a regular basis.

The objectives of the Committee are to:

• Bring the parents and friends of the College together socially.
• Provide a means for promoting common interests.
• Promote co-operation between parents, friends and the College.
• Promote or participate in projects or activities for the welfare of the College.
• Raise funds to support the purchase of a wide range of educational resources.
• Act informally as a forum through which parents’ views can be presented and passed on to the College administration.
